Fall twice today really hard on some ice trying to be safe around vehicles actually hurt me worse. Swollen ankle, bloody knee, fell the second time with my arm out trying to caught the fall. No weight-bearing on my left arm, and bruise on my hip. But I knew I had to get back to take my kids to school. Somehow I ran 6:42, and 6:28 the last two miles. Did 8 miles in 1 hour but I'm paying for it. Arm is hard to move.

Went to doctor's office last night and took x-rays and the PA pretty sure I have a small jagged hair-line crack near elbow, but it was swollen and was hard to tell.  She said she would have the Doctor look at it the morning.  She told me I can't run for a week.  Like that's going to happen.   I will wait Monday.  Hopefully, its not fractured and just swollen.

I guess this will give my hip, knee, ankle and the sciatic nerve (which has been acting up again) time to rest.  Guys, it's real discouraging when you know you've come so far and just keep getting little setbacks.  Part of me says quit running altogether and do something else.  But I love the way running makes me feel.  There's no greater accomplishment than coming home from a long run in the mornings.

6 miles today and still don't have full movement but not too much pain running with the fractured Elbow. 4am wake up time tomorrow for a major server migration. Crazy week.

Good run 7.4 miles at a 7:04 pace.  Elbow a lot better but of course it still doesn't have the full range of motion.  The doctor said I have a jagged hairline fracture so nothing bad and I can run with that even though he didn't want me to.  I was suppose to keep it in a sling for a week, but I feel pretty good running.

Ran all the way out to Ross Park.  and back home.  Very Very windy for 6 miles.  Did 12.21 miles at an overall 7:27 Pace in 1:30:55.  Really pathetic my running is almost embarrassing with this sciatic nerve causing my form and everything to be off.
