I've had sort of a setback. I was running and was 100ms from my house on May 26 and all of a sudden had a pain in my groin or titanium rod leg and started limping. From that date on it gets swollen if I walk on it a lot. I can't even run on it because it's an extreme pain.  I can do the Arc Trainer (form of an Elliptical) and it doesn't hurt. I've been doing that for 6 miles a day.

I thought (not sure) I might have broke some hardware inside, but according to the doctor's examination today without taking x-rays it's a groin strain.   My Doctor told me several months ago that he wouldn't be surprised if I didn't end up breaking something inside.   He said to try and run a little bit when the pain goes away, but until then stay on the Arc trainer.

Plus I have a cyst on my shoulder that's infected so bad that a nurse couldn't even get it to come done and said I would need to have a Doctor lance it. She tried pressing the infection out even tried using Epsom Salt. It's pretty painful but I guess I've been able to always deal with a lot of pain.  It's caused the lymph nodes to swell, and the infection to go around the cyst.  At least I've meant my deductible.

Plus were sure we blow our head gasket or intake mainfold on our car, because antifreeze was leaking in the oil.  I discovered that last week.  Then the battery went out on my truck, but the battery was 7 years old.  Then the water pump went out of my truck on Saturday.  Major expense so I've had a fun month.  Right now were down to one vehicle with the other two in the shop

Did 6.8 miles on Arc/Elliptical Trainer in 1:05.  Tomorrow going to the doctor to get my Whitehead and black and infected Cyst removed.  The infection has started to move down.

I think I'm done as a runner.. I have one step forward than two steps back.

Good note worked with an Oracle Technician to put a new motherboard in our Sun Fire v210 and very thing was successful and came up.  I could have done it myself, but we have a contract with Oracle that requires they come in and do the Hardware replacement.

Sorry for the lazy posting,  but my life isn't exciting only filled with pitfalls.  Cyst on the shoulder, groin injury, and hip bother me on the recovering femur.  But I still manage to do the Elliptical/Arc Trainer for 7 miles a day.  I'm humbled and thank God for that.  There's no room for complaining or feeling sorry.  My major thing is I need to do what God has called me to do and that's preach his word like I used too.

Guys I miss the races just mainly because I get to see the bloggers so I will try to keep myself updated here.

Still at gym doing the Arc/Elliptical for 6.3 miles. Groin still the same.  I tried running last Friday outside and made it two miles and well no need to go into the pain details I'll just leave it at that.

Did Arc/Elliptical for 6.6 mile in 1:05.  I didn't push the hill intervals as hard because of the soreness running outside yesterday.   I was quite sore waking up.  But it was worth one day of running outside with pain..  Nobody would have ran in the pain that I did yesterday.
